The City of Kingsburg retained Peters Engineering Group to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimate for the SR 201 (Sierra Street) RRFB project to install rectangular rapid flashing beacons at 4 intersections along SR 201, including two locations along the frontage of Kingsburg High School. The project was co-funded by Caltrans and required an encroachment permit for the work. The project also included new ADA compliant ramp improvements and updated crosswalk striping. Design and construction were completed in 2024.
