Peters Engineering Group was retained by a private client for the design of a roundabout at the intersection of North Blythe Avenue and West Spaatz Avenue in northwest Fresno. The intersection of was a three-legged intersection controlled by a stop sign on westbound Spaatz Avenue, with a fourth leg being a commercial driveway on the southwest side of the intersection. The project constructed a 1-lane, 3-direction roundabout, with a 4th leg being the reconstructed commercial drive approach.  Items for construction include demolition of the existing intersection, new HMA pavement, median curb, curb and gutter, sidewalk, truck apron, landscaping and irrigation, sidewalks, signing and striping street and area lighting.
