This is a 4 phase project, 3 of which have been completed - Phase 1: Golden State Blvd to Main Street (completed 2019), Phase 2: Main Street to Armstrong Ave (completed 2022), and Phase 3: Armstrong Ave to Temperance Ave (completed 2022). All four phases use federal funds from a Surface Transportation Block Grant and required coordination with Caltrans Local Assistance. The entire project consists of the removal and reconstruction of existing asphalt concrete pavement, construction of concrete median curb and concrete valley gutter, and new striping and signage of Adams Avenue. Phase 4 (SR99 NB on-ramp to Stearns Ave) will be constructed summer of 2025.
