The City of Kingsburg retained Peters Engineering Group to provide engineering services for three separate federally funded (through CMAQ) projects. The project limits were: 1) 12th Avenue from Stroud Avenue to Aslan Way, 2) 18th Avenue from Stroud Avenue to Klepper Street, and 3) 18th Avenue from Sierra Street to Stroud Avenue. The three projects were combined into one construction contract. Services included preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for the proposed improvements. The project updated infrastructure within the project boundaries, including curb, gutter, ADA ramp, drive approaches, and sidewalk improvements. Right of way acquisition was required on 10 parcels along 18th Avenue between Sierra Street and Stroud Avenue. The project was designed in 2023 and construction was completed in 2024.
