The City of Fowler retained Peters Engineering Group to provide engineering services for this federally funded (through CMAQ) project. The improvements included completing the sidewalk gap on the north side of Sumner Avenue from Sunnyside Avenue to where the road starts to curve and the addition of bike lanes along both the north and south sides of Sumner Avenue from Sunnyside Ave to Merced Street. The project was designed and constructed in 2024.
